Me too mate, if 1 more thing happens with this kit, it is going to see what forces are applied to a real aircraft when it crashes.

To be honest, I hope it doesn't come to that. I think this is looking fantastic right now and would look great on your shelf. It is your model though, so...

Oh me too, I just have had my patience with this kit pulled very thinly. That is why I am taking my time with it, it gives me a break between frustrations. I think once I make a new stand for it, it will be nice.

You guys won't believe it but I am so so close to done. Need that stand to cure in place, and flat coat and boom, done.

Looks very nice, Declan, but why a flat coat? Unless the paint is very old, it would more likely be glossy.

I noticed that too. A majority of civil aircrafts are glossy coats never flat.
