Started gluing the fuselage together a small section at a time.

Added the underside parts just below the cockpit. Lots of filling and sanding coming up. Funny thing is that the nose cone fits perfectly with no gaps.

Ugh... step issues are the worst for me. Give me a big ole gap anyday...

I agree. The bad part is that there's a step near the exhaust for the gun.

I'd third that - steps are a PITA. I'm sure you'll get it sorted though Mike. It's coming along really well.

Leveling out steps is no fun! But it looks like it is in a location that won't be too difficult to deal with.

It shouldn't be but that vent is WAY to close to the step.

I brought in reinforcement to help fix the steps.

A non-liquid, water-soluble putty like Milliput can make step repairs simpler.



After initial application, you can smooth it out with a wet finger tip, reducing the effort needed for sanding afterwards.
