She’s looking like Whiskey Seven.

Thanks guys!
Calling her done. Keep in mind this a "no frills" Mini Whiskey 7. Guy that is paying for it, didn't want any of the "fancy" stuff. Which meant, no scratch made chocks, or control locks. I left out a few small antennas and air scoops as well, cause that would of added more time to this, and I don't think he would want to pay that price, lol. Full disclosure, we never really discussed a final end price. I told him what the average kit price was, and he gave me a hundred bucks to get the kit. I picked one up for 60. I'm charging him 300 for the build, which took me 43 hours. Another reason I don't like doing commission builds. I just don't feel like it is worth my time. It was my mistake to not have a price quoted, and agreed upon before starting it. I didn't keep track of the time on my previous Mini Whiskey 7 builds either, so I wasn't sure. Anyway, enough chatter, onto the pics.....

That was fast! And nicely done too! I like the patchy and multi shades of OD look. Double bonus points for coming in under budget.

Well done! That was pretty fast. So about $7.00 / hour. In CA you would get $15.0 / hour minimum
Thanks,

Thanks guys!
Again, my fault for not discussing a price before hand I feel like. If he asks me again to do a 1/48 B-17 I'm going to tell him it's going to be a lot more. He wanted me to do a D-Day Mini W7 too. Not unless he wants to pay me a grand. I put 80 hours into that, and the kit was around a hundred bucks. I can't skimp on details with that one. Some of these builds like I said before are my way of paying my respects to the men who jumped from them. So I have to throw my best out there. Only reason I gave in and did this one was to get him to quit bugging me, lol. He hounded me for well over a year.

Average minimum wage in NYS is $13 - $18/hour. Just sayin’....

Fantastic work! Like Stik wrote, the paint work really stands out. It's also built super clean.

To me commission builds are the same as an artist’s work. No one will usually pay for what you put into them. This is a real beauty!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
