Congrats on finishing your Buffalo! It came out looking sharp! Always a hoot to see the black & white underside ID colors.
Definitely

A master of the airbrush already!
Did you miss the horizontal framing on the sliding canopy?

Thanks Carlos - I had to build one after seeing your build last year.
I do like that black and white scheme - it looks good on the Hurricanes and Spitfires too.
I always think of it on Hurricanes after reading
A Piece of Cake. Great novel. The BBC miniseries was good, but changed it up quite a bit.

I know of the TV show but I never had a chance to see it - I might have to check out the book though. The Early Hurricanes and Spitfires looked quite different with their two blade props and black/white undersides.
Thanks!

I'm watching the Piece of Cake series on YouTube now, on episode three. It's all filmed with Mk 9ish spitfires so far and a Dragon Rapide, and one Merlin 109.

In the novel the squadron was equipped Hurricanes. But I guess since there are so few airworthy Hurricanes, they went with Spitfires for the miniseries.

Very nice work Stuart! Especially your first effort with the airbrush. Ironically though, this is probably one of those instances where hand-brushing would've yielded more accurate results as it pertains to the camo demarcation. Free-handing a two-tone scheme in 1/72 scale is difficult since the demarcation becomes pretty sharp the smaller your model gets. But it looks like you've got the hang of it!
