Is this some sort of commemorative scheme? I’m used to seeing Rafales only in the typical overall low visibility grays.

Yup - I have a special scheme decals for this Rafale kit. Not all are all grey. The kit I have calls for overall flat black version.

Decal session is done. Next to spray a coat of clear to seal them in. Last thing to do before she's finally finished are the struts, refueling probe and fiddly bits.

Clearcoat went on last night. I’ll head back to the bench later tonight and finish this one up.
