Well this thing is progressing - I've maksed and primed the fuselage, engine pod and wings and now it's getting some paint.

I was hoping to get some more painting done today but alas I've been laid up with a rather painful attack of Gout.

Thanks Bruce - yes sadly, I get the occasional attack it - I just wake up in the morning with a horrible pain through my foot (like someone has hammered a nail through it), which then swells up. there's no warning or anything, it just comes on. Thankfully I had just enough pills left over from my last attack to knock it on it's arse, and I was feeling better on Sunday. The only annoying thing is the pills give me sever nausea - so I was sick as a dog on Saturday.

All in all, not a fun few days - feeling better now though, although the foot is twinging slightly.

So that’s what gout is. I have heard of it, but never heard the condition explained before. And I have never looked it up. Get well soon my friend!

Thanks Carlos - it took me a number of years before I knew what it was too - but it's pretty much cleared up now thanks. It's supposed to be a condition linked to high living and drinking lots of Port and Sherry, neither of which I do sadly!
