Work with the Avenger continues, more exactly adding the belts to the pilot seat. The kit did not come with any belts (except some rather bad looking decal solution) but I had an extra Wildcat PE sheet where I could find unused belts.

Some dry fit bending

And voila!

And meanwhile dry fitting the turret and trying to figure out how to actually move forward, the cabin shelf popped off !
Which was really good, as now I don't need to attach the turret so early in the build!

Let's see what next!

I ordered online my preferred primer, MRP:s ”Fine Surface Primer” and got it yesterday.
And guess what, ”Shrinkflation” has hit even MRP.. Price same as before but the volume reduced from 60 to 50 ml, in other words the price have gone up with 20%!!

:hmm:

You're not alone. Cat litter brand I buy used to be in 25 lb bags. Now they're 20 lb bags for the same price as the former 25 lb bag. Go figure.

Everything has got up in price. And if the tarriffs go into effect, the modelling community will get hit hard.

That all depends upon where your modeling purchases originate. Some countries will get hit with tariffs while others will not. Of course here in the USA “buy American” is not much of an option since most US based hobby companies are long gone… :headslap:

Nice work Kari!

Ya, the ice cream industry & girl scout cookies set the standards of shrinkflation years and years ago.
Thanks,
