Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3
This is crazy. Must be an exchange rate/timing thing, but, I picked up this kit with the 4x4 jeep and 2 figures for $36 USD at my LHS, where, they also had the original issue of the 1/48 Tamiya P-47D sitting right next to it for $45. I Think I may have to go back and get another...

That's a pretty good price! You never have enough jugs to play with... I mean P-47 Thunderbolt kits

Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3
Excellent scores guys! I only have two to show. One is from the Distressed Kit Auction my club does every June and December. It's a 1/25 scale Lindbergh Lincoln Continental:

The other was gifted to me by a friend in my St. Crispin's Irregulars group. It's a Zvezda 1/350 scale HMS Revenge snap kit:

I also recently got a lot of glue, Tamiya tape and some lacquer thinner to replenish my supplies., but didn't shoot pics of any of it.
That's all for now.

Great scores Mark! I do miss the OC IPMS auctions. Those are the best! Along with So Cal AMPS of course
The HMS Revenge is cool, but if you could get your hands on a Golden Hind kit, Sir Drake’s ship when he explored the coast of California all those centuries ago…. The Lincoln is pretty sweet too. There is just something about the cars of that era.

These two just came in yesterday. I've always liked the underdog Whirlwind and the Attacker is intriguing with a jet and a tailwheel

The 1/12 figure kits from Bandai are super hart to get and insanely pricey over here in the EU. Would love to get the guy with the speeder bike. And the K3soandso android...Stikpusher wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 10:39 pm Well, I finally pulled the trigger and bought something from my new job, now that the employee discount has kicked in. These kits came in during the week, and I just couldn’t say no. Sort of an early birthday present from me to myself
