That is a fine kit. I did that one last year.

I do indeed. I'd argue it's the most photogenic of WWII aircraft and would be the first one the list of WWII aircraft I'd like to own.

Ok... I'm excited because I'm acquiring a shelving unit from work place. 2 1/2 weeks ago, I asked my boss if needs this shelving unit since it has been sitting empty and unused since the COVID pandemic. Here's the shelving unit I'm bringing home tomorrow...

Yes, they are missing boards for each shelf. Not a biggie.

It is a little over 3 ft wide, 9 or 10 inches deep. (I can't remember the height measurement.) I'm getting 8 shelves (found extra spare racks to complete all 8 shelves) - more than enough to store all my aircraft build plus more.

I will put a back and sides and a plexiglass front to keep my cat out of it. She spends most of her nights in our cellar anyway. Can't trust her to leave them alone.

I do have another shelf unit in my cellar I acquired from work place from 2003ish prior to the move to Court Street that I will use for my car kits.

Shelving is home. I measured the height of shelf sides - 88 inches. Went in cellar and measured to see if it will fit. Nope. . gonna have to cut off 3 inches to accommodate the shelving unit. :headbang:

Time to break out the hacksaw...

Tom, more power to ya! I have learned that my woodworking skills suck. I now pay well to the guys who can do it right the first time.

I’ve picked up these two items recently

One can always use more 1/35 Panzer crewmen…

and for some reason I suddenly picked up the WWI bug…

I've been thinking about that FT for quite some time. That kit or Takom's 1/16.
These would be a nice addition, though pricey

Got a pair of those one bladed nippers. Figured I better get some since I've been doing a lot of Gundam lately.

Those look interesting Mike. What's the advantage of one bladed nippers?
