Still checking in, too. Outstanding work all they way.

MichelC wrote:Thanks! I won't paint the pods in a different color. I toyed with the idea for a while but decided against it in the end as just it's just extra work for no real reason. Most of the paint on the pods will be ripped off by the crash landing anyway. For this and other reasons they'll just be the same color as the underside.

Ah ok - that sounds like a good Idea!

Hi Lyle, glad to see you're still following too. It's funny, I thought I had posted that very sentence already but just now, seeing Portman's latest post, I saw that I didn't. Maybe I forgot to press the "submit" button or something. There were pics of the upper side camo color too. Well, let's remedy this right away! Here they are.

The color is a 50/50 mix of the the 2 paints on the below pic.

The next step is one more color and this where it all comes together. Stay tuned!

These pastel tones really suit that little racer. Curious what comes next.

That's cool. Looks quite menacing.

Thanks Lyle. It should look even meaner now, after 'aging' and 'sun-fading' the paint with the airbrush and removing the liquid masks.
