WOW...going old school are we?

Yes we are... I like old school that's my school...

Well, as usual I got one of my silly ideas to make things better. Since my Carro Comando has some nice open hatches to see into, and I added the radios on Friday, I decided to come up with some interior details for this baby. I used my Tamiya Semovente as reference and set about raiding my spares bin. I spent more time sifting thru there for items that looked about right than anything else. A few hours later I have come up with this. Not perfect, exact, or whatever, but no longer just empty space...



and what you can see of it thru the open hatches...





now for those Miniart crew figures and a base....

Looks really convincing! Anything looks better than vacant space, and Lord knows, nobody wants to stay buttoned up in the desert if they don't have too!

Thanks Joe. I know that inside of AFVs in the desert is rarely a happy medium... It's either freezing in there in winter, or broiling inside in summer. And the exposed machinery of that particular tank would make it even worse... But it was fun to create the interior here.

Thank you Kermit! The scary thing is that this was not a tankette, but a Medium tank for the Italians. Although it was more in class with most other countries light tanks in everything but its armament for the same era.
