Finished in the wee a.m. hours, this morning.....cuz my weekend is pretty much shot, as far as bench time goes

Magnificent work Fermis! I'm building an F/A-18F myself and I can only hope mine comes out one quarter as good as yours! Simply stunning!

Question for reference on mine: Is the underwing ordinance supposed to angle outward like that or should it be parallel to the fuselage? I want to know so I can do mine right. Thanks.

no, that really is the way they hang on an E/F/G....there was an issue in development with the straight-forward pylons. During design, some genius didnt check for weapons clearance. So instead of redesigning the whole wing, they just toed the pylons out a few degrees.

the tires yourself or are those resin replacements, or what???

Them gears still be good!

Tires are the kit parts. I lay a heavy(ish) grit sandpaper flat on my bench, then drag the wheels across it to get the flat spot.
