Agnes Obel, one of my absolute favorites!
Have seen this Dane, Agnes Obel 3 times performing live (or actually 4 times) and every time it has been a great and perfect experience!

The best is, she sings and plays as good as in the studio.. So pure!

(and nice work with Tempest also!)

As to the Typhoon, she’s looking real nice, my man. Real nice indeed and coming along wonderfully!

That Medium Sea Grey does look a bit warm to my eye in the photo. It seems like each company has a slightly different take on the color. Humbrol being more neutral and Model Master more in the “cool” end of the spectrum.

I do wish that we could get Revell paints in the shops here. I do like their color selection.

Thanks Bruce - I try my best, I hate brush strokes as much as anyone! It's taken me a while but I've developed a rather strange technique for brush work. I don't use a large flat brush but rather a small round tipped one, and I sort of dab it onto the surface.

You're very lucky to have seen her live - I'd love to but alas kids n' all. I do think she is very talented and is probably my favourite female artist.

Yes I was really pleased with the SuE - it took a lot of work but it came out well. I actually looks a lot better up close than it does in the photos.

Yeah I think you're right. I put a second coat on yesterday and this morning had a look in decent light. To my eye it looks more like a barley grey than light (perhaps I should use it on the Phantom ). I think I might go over it with the Hataka or Humbrol light grey instead - I much prefer the shade. I'll be interested to see how the Revell Dark Green and Ocean Grey look.

They're not bad paints to work with, just very thick. I'm not so keen on the fact that you appear to have to mix their colours a lot of the time to get the shades you need - that's how it seems with a lot of the builds I do.

I have a few Revell paints in my collection from my last trip to Europe, courtesy of Uncle Sam. All are enamels, NATO green in a big bottle, and several other colors in the tins. I really like them, but like you said, they are a bit on the thick side.

I think I've mentioned it in a few places Bruce - I love enamels, I think they're great paints to work with. I'd love to have a go with some Model Master but you can't get them over here.
