So today after work has been a final crash session.... I airbrushed on a flat coat and then a light dust coat... drying times are very slow for enamels today due to low temps and rain coming in...

More to come in a bit...

Carlos! Exquisite work, bud. Simply exquisite. From start to this moment this project has been such a pleasure to follow. I learn so much from your planning stages. Your confidence as a model builder with managing these detailed tones and textures is fantastic! Badass! In 10-1/2 days so far. Keep your powder dry, and your eyes on the prize. You got this.

Clint, Bruce, and Stuart, thank you. Seeing as I don’t have day 12 to finish this up, I pushed a little more after the last few photos. I went with Tamiya Weathering Set for the field applied camo, it went on quick, and I’m very happy with the appearance. So for the purposes of the FSM GB, I am done with it. I will still make a few tweaks to this prior to AMPS & IPMS, but aside from the crew figures, it’s pretty much done. Apologies for the poor lighting in these photos. I’ll take some better photos hopefully on Monday after work.

Oh and one side note, due to the current series of IT glitches over on FSM, I am locked out and can’t share this there. Ironic, when you consider that the GB there was the reason to build this and within 12 days.

Thanks Bruce. I need some photos in natural light... the lights in my garage work area covers all the subtleties of the finished look. You can see it fine in person, but the camera is another thing...
