Thanks guys! No worries there with the forklift. I can hold it with my fingers and the next place it's going is on the deck.

Now I have a bunch of these antenna to build and these are a pain in the butt. The antenna butt join to the plate that they sit on. Getting them to sit straight and not leaning over is not fun. May wait till the very end to build these so that they can go directly onto the sides of the flight deck.

Well I had issues with the antennas breaking while trying to clean them up so I cheated. Metal wire to the rescue.

And brass bases and solder...

I actually came up with a better idea. After drilling the hole, I added a drop of super glue. Then took the metal rod and dipped it in accelerator. Then added the rod to the base and boom, perfect antenna.

Drill and pin it. Fo' shizzle!
