And better at using them, too!

Well, I haven't dropped most of mine.

Sorry. I shouldn't perpetuate that "meme". The French Army has had it's moment's of glory. But, it has been a while...

I have an old Smith & Wesson 4506 all stainless .45ACP that I will probably be carrying when we move to Tennessee.
Also have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge tactical shotgun with a Streamlight flashlight attached to the front and loaded with Federal magnum 00 buck. My third and last firearm is a Ruger M77V heavy barrel varmint rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington with a Burris 6-18x scope. A tack driver but I will have little use for it in Tennessee so I will probably sell it and get an AR style rifle, maybe the Ruger.

Those are some good choices, Mike! :shoutout: I picked up my newest purchase July 2. It's a Ruger Wrangler, .22 caliber single-action. Bud's Guns had it for $180 and free shipping and I just caved! I had been wanting a single-action revolver in .22 for a while and that price did it. I shot it for the first time a few days ago and everything worked just fine. I also took my Cimarron 1851 Navy cartridge-conversion model in .38 spl. with me and had a lot of fun shooting it too! Those single-action designs are fun and they just reek of history; they won't win any contests for speedy reloading and emptying but that's part of the charm.

They are great fun, John! It's not that difficult to spend more than $180 on a night out's meals and drinks in today's world, but instead of a full belly and a headache, you get a fun little heater to plink with!

Kind of miss my old Thompson Super 14 Contender.
Had a .35 Remington with a Burris scope,.223 Remington with a Burris 7x scope and .22LR barrels for it
The .223 Remington barrel consistently shot 1" groups at 100 yds from the bench rest with Sierra 50 gr bullets and IMR4198 powder.
