Cool! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who knocks things off the desk while being so clumsy all the time! It ALWAYS happens to me; it's a miracle I get anything done!

That B-2 is looking good so far. Keep going, I think you have it on the run!

I think it may be ready for another coat of primer! It has to be. I've almost gone through my stash of sand paper! The color guide is as follows:
RED: Bondo Glazing and Spot putty, GREEN: Squadron Green putty, WHITE: Gunze Mr. Dissolved Putty. A supporting cast of Liquid Styrene, Milliput, pieces of sheet styrene, thin super glue, medium super glue and thick super glue, Tamiya Extra Thin, Tenax 7R, and finally, good ol' Testor's tube glue. My bench is now on the Federal Superfund clean up site list!







With yet another coat of Tamiya Gray Surface Primer. Still a few seams that need attention. You can look at this thing cross-eyed and a seam will pop.







the instructions were blowing in the breeze. Quite windy this afternoon and I have a window open....about 75 F today. Starting to cloud up, though.

Lyle, I simply have to tell you about my respect for keeping on this putty monster! Really, not giving up and start another one is admirable!

This kit have a weight ratio of 70% putty to 30% plastic...

More like 80/20! Honestly, it won't be perfect or even that good. But, it will suffice for hanging it up in our downstairs family room. I took the easy way out and closed it up. Next challenge will be the eleventy-seven decals. Maybe.

Ah, decals. Have we already told you about the decals? They are.....on par with the rest of the kit. That is about as positive as I can put it into words. Basically they are one of lives big dillema's. what to do, if you trim them to lessen silvering they will break because they are so long. If you leave them "as is" there is a big risk of silvering. And they will break anyway when you try to straighten them out..... Sorry if I am making you feel depressed.

Seriously, my advice would be not to trim them (but know that I hate large decals. Especially long straight lines) but to put a very high gloss finish on your B-2. And to work some magic with decal softener and the like.

You have put on the B-2 all putty/glue types avaible on this earth
