Cool Gundam stuff, Mike! I still can’t get myself motivated to go out and buy one and build one yet. :bag:

Go get one from Hobby Lobby. They have some cheaper easy ones.

I started with pastel weathering but settled on a combination of wet/dry techniques. I actually went looking for some photos but I haven’t found the albums yet. All of this technology is supposed to save time, right?

I've been watching a LOT of Gundam videos on weathering without having to paint the entire model. I'll be trying stuff soon. As a matter of fact, I was going to start this one as part of the "March Madness GB" on Facebook.

Very cool Mike!

There's a guy on youtube called Jon Bius that does a lot of videos on weathering various sci-fi subjects. I'm sure if you scroll down a bit he might well have done some on weathering unpainted Gundams.

I started building this one a couple of days ago. Unfortunately all my aircraft are on hold. The house that we currently rent and live in is being sold by the owners. We're hoping someone will buy it and rent it to us so that nothing changes but there is the chance we might have to move. And because people will be seeing the house, I can't paint for the foreseeable future. So Gundams it is.

Nice one, Mike. Sucks about the house being shown on market—but building a kit is a great way to keep in shape no matter what the kit. I let my skills grow cold and still need to crank things back up to previous levels. So good job.
