Today I started getting decals on.

Still have a bunch of small stencils to add….

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

This one is not too bad compared to say a F-4 phantom or F-15 Eagle, which both seem to have a ridiculous amount of them. It’s like they came up with a make work job in the Air Force to create and place stencils on those two.

Never done stencils on an F-15 Eagle since I was a teen. But… stencils on any F-4 Phantom is pure stencil hell. :headbang: :giggles:

Yeah, the last F-15 I did was shortly after Desert Storm… last Phantom was around the same time… I just remember lots of stencils on both… :headslap:

I find putting decals (when they're good ones) on kinda therapeutic. Plus it really gives it life.

Mike, I agree on both points regarding decals. And as long as they don’t fight you, application can be a pleasant task.

I finished up the stencils on this over the weekend.

I also finished painting the exterior of the afterburner and gave it a test fit.

More to come next week…

This is certainly a far better kit than the old Academy 1.72 version of this I built. :shoutout:
