Well, you’re doing what the film makers could not. Hollywood had to use some sort of active duty military aircraft, and could not take a modified warbird for the MiG-28 role. The best they could do was a repaint. I always thought that they should have used some Hornets, but those were just going intonsquadron service when the movie was filmed.
You on the other hand can modify your airframe as much as you like for a more Soviet look. Perhaps some new angles on the tail fin will help as well. Look at the Flogger, Foxbat, and Fulcrum tails to get some ideas...

Marius that is some outstanding surgery and grafting. This is looking more and more amazing with each update. I'm stunned at how well that tail end grafted on.

I agree with Carlos: a little more angle on the tail section like current MiGs. Also, concerning the canards; I'd recommend shaving back the forward edge to make it more streamlined with the fins added to the nose.

Man, I can't wait see more of this!

Thanks. FYI: The belts are made of colored masking tape. Other modules are of stretched sprues and Q-tips, paper (MiG-29 PE parts as paper print-out, colored with blue-green Copic Marker) and sheet.
Costs were a few cents and look good enough under a closed canopy.
