Thanks Stuart. Well yesterday evening saw some more cutting and sanding. LOTS of theory and planning involved in this build. I managed to make the cut out for the radiator and cooling fans:

Image

It all fits right in there pretty well and I managed to get the supply and return cooling hose cut outs in the fan housing too:

Image

I also worked on the seating platforms some by cutting the whole bench into two sections so the engine'll be able to fit . I've got the dimensions down but I'm going to have to work a little more on the specifics of how I want the seat platforms braced and "fastened". :hmm: I've also gotta move the steering column towards the drivers door just a little bit due to relocating the seats.

Image

Looks like I'll need some seat belts as well. I'll be going with these (which I'll be ordering on my next payday):

I picked up another one of these this last Friday just because I wanted to build an OOB version to show the contrast between what I'm going to end up with this build and what it's supposed to look like OOB. What I got was the 1 in 12 that was molded in metal flake green. I'll be painting the inside of the body gold and gloss coating the outside so that'll throw a twist in the "paint work".

I'm almost through with the suspension on the OOB build:

Holy buses Batman! That is obnoxious to the Nth degree! I can't wait to see his one OOB! Brilliant idea doing a comparison build. Your threads are always a pleasure to watch.

Thanks Mark and Stuart. I really do appreciate the comments.

Hopefully I can get past the OOB portion fairly quickly. :clockwatch:
