The 135 is more detailed than the BK (old matchbox reboxed) but the old one have good point with detailed ip, also the subject is featuring from an RTL series about fliyng ambulance service, never seen in Italy.

The BK was started some month ago , then freezed til now, the few works done was to glue engines sections to the fuselage and tail subassembly

Image

Other night glued needed pieces to procede interior paint. Some thinning work was done on the exhaust holes and same exhausts to improve realism

About same works on the EC135

Image

As you can see the ec inners are more detailed than the old matchbox

Test comparative fitting

some lead added to prevent tail sitting

Last night some putty work to fill some extractor signs and after washing with alcool , a mix of vallejo primer, white and a little point of blue (then also black ..) to use as primer and main inner color with three layers done

Clear parts time:

Cut off the three windows par side from the single piece that revell moulded for the kit

Image

Then all windows was sanded on the borders and painted in black (recucing inner white effect inner reflections and improve trasparency)

Image

then glued with a mixture of vinil glue, water and black acrilic

Image

Image

Almost same on the BK117, but here windows are already in single pieces

Image

And glued on fuselages (after also upper and bottom corner windows)

Image

Now waiting for perfect dry glue and next step to fill possible gaps and improve strenght of fixed windows

At the next!
