So the new can sprayed perfectly, tomorrow I'll be starting paint.

Ok Started laying the base colors yesterday and today on the interior. So many small subassemblies here's some progress going to be getting the wet pallet out tomorrow and start on detail painting. The AK Real Color Rotbraun (RAL 8012) is spot on but the camera makes it look way to red.

Those colors look great, Clint. Apologies for not picking up the thread a few posts back when you mentioned running out of primer. That stinks! Cheers, mate.

Thanks Bruce, Not sure what was wrong with the old can of primer.

So been working on the ammo, didn't have any Alclad brass so decided to go with late war lacquered steel.
First sprayed them Alclad duraluminium then misted them with Alclad exhaust manifold that I just learned about a few weeks ago from John.
The end result looks really good for a lacquered steel case.

Thanks guys, I first tested on a scrap piece first then compared it to some 8mm steel case ammo I have from 1945 the look is pretty close to my eyes

Thank you guys, I got more detail painting done today, tomorrow I will have some more photos and will hopefully start painting the outer hull camo.
