Thank you. I only have one sheet!

Cutting 1/8" strips (or there-a-bouts) and then trimming after application. Tamiya molded a nice raised detail for the chrome strip.

You were thinking about interior color.... I found photos here of one of the originals:

The owners note that the interior is “mostly original.” If this car matches the others from the film, then the interior was light grey. I thought I saw another car when researching that has the standard white/ivory interior, though! Have you gone through a copy of the film yet? I would look for stills that feature the interior.
I did a quick look. Definitely a gray interior:
