The crewman on the left resembles the great Brazilian Indy Car driver and 500 winner, Tony Kanaan.

Gary, he sure does! He also resembles a couple of guys that I served with in the Army as well... :hmm:

Funny how that molding was state of the art 30 years ago for plastic figures in 1/35... :whiteflag:

Not anytime soon…. The next 113 type I build will either be a mortar track, or the new IDF Zelda that I just bought…
Besides I still have the OIF M2 that I’m working on… slowly… ever so slowly…

Today I did more work on this during our online AMPS Zoom meting… I finished adding stowage and did detail painting getting this one a few inches closer to the finish line

That looks really cool Carlos! The stowage really adds to it.

Are the visual ports on the commanders hatch really those colours, or is that liquid mask?

Thanks Stuart. The vision blocks are a paint I found at a gamers store. You put down a black base, then paint several coats of that translucent reddish purple color. That was the first coat. Depending upon the angle of the light it is pretty good at replicating the anti laser coating that appeared on western AFV optics in the late 80’s. I will go back and touch up the surrounding sand areas once I’m all done with the periscopes and vision blocks.
