My second offering will likely be this one. It is from 1961, the Monogram PA67 Phantom Mustang in 1/32 scale. (waits for applause to die back or the crickets to stop). I built this in the early -mid-60s and then at some point, shot it down with my trusty BB gun. I know, I know. Anyway, if it had been unopened, that is still in all the original packing, etc. I'd keep it as an artifact.

Proof from the box lid...notice the price! $4.98. Like a fool, I think I paid near $100 for it a couple of years ago.

It will be OOB, since it is molded in authentic colors!

That looks like fun Lyle. Minimal painting but watch out for those gluey fingerprints :giggles:

Ahh, My trademark! Debating on whether or not to dunk the fuselate/wings and canopy pieces in Future.

I do remember seeing that kit in my youth years during the 70s. Shied away from it because I may have thought it's too "complicated" to build. LOL!

I've been wondering if UV glue wouldn't work well on the clear plastic.

I'd think it would. May have to dig mine out or get some fresh. Found it. The cap had come off somehow. It was on top of a small cabinet. Typical. Done wiping up the mess. Ordering some now.

Cool choice Lyle! I have one of those too, I won it from a one-hour build contest a couple decades ago. It's in some box somewhere.... :bag:
