The Zeke is done... and the first complete build of 2024
Marking belonging to Lt. Commander Shigeru Itaya Agakl Aircraft Carrier Fighter Group; Hawaii, December 8th 1941
I used Vallejo Liquid Mask on the canopy. Am I happy with it? No. Disappointed actually. Didn't leave sharp corners after removing the mask film.

Nice clean Zero Tom. As a Pearl Harbor Attack Zero should be. Those aircraft were quite new into service at that time.

Nice looking Zero Tom. Sorry to hear of your liquid mask issues. IMO, as it pertains to canopy masking, liquid mask is only for filling in the center portion of taped edges.

Yeah I gave up on liquid masks for canopies years ago... too many problems... especially once I started dipping canopies in Future.

I hear ya, Carlos. Don't know til I tried. Now I know. Not crazy about them at all. A waste of $4. Oh well....
