No, but I’ve thought of them. I’ve ordered a couple of step cutters. I have an idea using those. I’ll check this out when my internet is more stable. A very stormy night. Already had a tornado warning 25-18 miles east of me. No issues here, but a big ugly storm, more coming around midnight, and these could be stronger…

I think the step scraper should be here today. So, create a small step and glue in place.

Why not try the old model train trick of cutting posts from brass or plastic tubing and glue the top of the rail to that? No threading required.

I did ‘splain it very well. Cut a small piece of tube, glue on the inside of the railing at several of the stanchions, leaving a nubbin extending down past the bottom of the railing. Marking and drilling holes in the deck to receive the railing. Creating mounting pegs and holes.

Naw. I don’t have enough Band-Aids for that!
