It looks like you would have needed my Magnum7 paint sprayer to cover that beastie! Looking good! I can't wait to see more.

I actually hand painted the first coat with a soft 1" brush and when that had dried then sprayed it with another coat. In total used about 1/2 bottle of the acrylic. I thinned the sprayed coat at about 50% with Tamiya X-20 thinner.
This morning, i masked off the port waing (wing for you non-Southerners) and brushed the 70 ...doesn't look too bad. May keep that method. My thinking is being the glider, it may have looked preltty rough. Who knows?

A middle of bottle for the whole plane is not bad
On mine need to cut new windows to continue the inner furnishing
