Aside from collecting and filling gaps in such a collection, which is builders also can do, there does not seem to be any allure to buying an already built product.

I agree with you both — deep down the best feelings arise from doing the work yourself and not to rely on after market for the final flourish. We are all builders; some of us fabricate parts, too — and it is always great to see multiple sets of ideas being put to use!

I remember seeing some Tin Tin cartoon series episodes, but no aircraft like this... :hmm:
