Folks the motor is NOT done yet. I had to install it to figure out all the electrical ckt , fuel and brake line routing I've gotta do with this build. I've got it in there though!

Amazing! The engine already looks done; the mind reels when thinking of what more you can add...

Although the picture doesn't depict the exact shade here ( just short of a blood red actually) ...something tells me that I'm really gonna like this paint ! It is the exact shade of red I was after.

Nice! I have always seemed to have trouble with Testor's Model Master gloss spray cans, even when I heat them in hot water before use. I somehow always seem t have one spot that doesn't finish up smooth and glossy for some reason. You've successfully nailed this. Someday I hope to do as well.

Thanks Mark! I've come across one bad can out of three with this stuff. lol. I think I can paint this puppy with 2 cans.

My son and I are in Sugarland this weekend for a hockey tournament that he is playing in and wouldn't you know it that I brought along the travel work bench items.......I'll have that hood completed this weekend with the hole cut out for the carburetors and cleaned up.

In my die hard fashion:
