Hey Kenny X, just a thought—you might consider trying the time-honored Tamiya tape with bent wire method instead of decals. This is on my list of Basic Techniques to practice. Also, I agree with Carlos’s suggestion to thin the edges of the seat. One of the reasons I will use resin is the thinness of the parting mold lines. However, if this is going to fly above the bar for its final flight, take the thoughts about thinning down plastic in context of a different display model.

Additional note: I like your Prismacolor effect on the surfaces.

Or, you might find an old used lead / tin tube, flatten it and then cut thin nice slices and make the seat harness.
For example an old Tomato pure tube is perfect raw material for a harness !

Ooooooooh! We use tomato paste from tubes like that! It’s looking more and more tempting to just make my own harness. The decal one isn’t very good. So yeah, I think I’ll make my own.

My kids love these youguet and fruit and chia seed pouches. They eat them all the time. They’re made of the same material as the tomato paste tubes, just a shade less thick. I held onto one after their dinner tonight and I’m going to start experimenting with making harnesses out of that material this weekend!

Heavy gauge foil off of wine bottles is another great source....

Does that heavy foil hold paint pretty well after a good priming, Carlos?

I’m terms of markings for this aircraft, I can’t make up my mind whether I want to do “BIG HOG”, or “Ole 122.”
