Gonna add some figures? I'm not confident enough to mess with painted figures myself but I did pick up a neat True Details parachute for my future F4U build. They also offer Luftwaffe parachutes that might look cool with your Focke Wulf...

John! Good to hear from you! Wow! Tasty resin goodness! I hope you get back on schedule soon. Your photography on FB is fantastic, by the way.

One thing with the colorized photos it is a bit easier to tell hard edge and soft edge camo but I wouldn't rely on them for color matching.

Thanks so much, Clint. Good advice which reminds me of the old “What color is the Enterprise?” question! Is it the color of the actual model, the color of the model as photographed in various movies, and/or shows, or the color in your head? One of the best TOS E’s (from a 1966 first gen AMT Kit) I have seen as a model was stark white and spartan in its markings. It featured the Pilot style warp nacelles in a blood orange color. Dynamite stuff!

Fitting - Propeller hub assembly

Nice! Now how about the wings to the fuselage? Fit of major components without add-ons is a good baseline to establish prior to fitting of internal components.

Thank you so much, John. I know this seems slooow and I do apologize. I am working 12 hour days this week (not that I am complaining) and when I come home, my drive to work on the Anton is more mental than physical. However, fitting the hub with the secondary or inner base plate then drilling out the center of the fan (it is a fan?) dead center was what I wanted to test fit. Please do keep gently pushing the right directions here, I am learning as well as unlearning my own process and making adjustments that will be much better in the long run—I suppose the idiosyncrasies may remain in some spots. It has taken a lot longer to fit 2 out of 3 resin components into the fuse first, but the rewards are internal strength along four contact points, which is one solid internal structure in my opinion. I have to applaud the designers. This is really well done. And I have to thank you for following along and your greater wisdom. Cheers! I hope you are adjusting back to the time zone?

Not meaning to rush ya... just trying to make some helpful suggestions. Of which you may or may not need! The cowling/spinner/cooling fan alignment looks good, at least from that angle so it likes you did it right! Yes, I agree, an off-center fan would detract from the look. One note about that fan... it will block most of the visibility into the engine so any additional work that you do on the engine may not be seen very well. Carry on at your own pace, brother! I do hope you have Saturday off to rest?
