Ahh, coffee, a Heath Toffee bar and the windows open... Life is good. How good, you ask? Well, tempting fate again. So, JOBU be appeased!

The modeling gods smiled on me yesterday...big time. I was fussing around with the resin scissor struts for the main gear. Tiny little rascals. And yes, they both popped out of my hads and went poof. I didn't hear them hit the floor, so they must have stayed on the table top. But, swept up the floor really good and guess what? I found the tiny little resin tailwheel fork from this kit that went missing a few days ago...Then, wait for it, I found both the scissor struts on the bench top. I got chills.

Both are installed, although one put up a fight. Well, the extra CA put up the fight...on my fingers, on the tweezers, etc. They are about ready to install.

Notice the little nubs in about the middle of the picture? Those seem suited to attach the bracing strut to. However, the destructions, uhh, instructions show the strut simplyi glued to the top of the opening behind those nubbins. The cross piece supports that instruction.

Remember the gap in the nose?

Also, Lyle, this seems vaguely like voodoo-

What! You don't know JOBU? He is the feller from the movie "Major League'.

I’m more of a Bull Durham fan myself... :ballbat:

Great fix on that nose area Lyle. Jobu must have helped.

Watch Bull Durham too much and you start looking like an old Ricardo Montalban

You're a braver man than I am tackling this kit Lyle - and you're doing a grand job thus far. Well done on the recovery of the 'filler' incident.
