Which kit is this... I saw at the beginning of your thread that your “string” of Mustangs would be both Airfix and Academy...

Bruce this is the later Academy kit. I believe it came as an F-51D boxing. Still like the Airfix kit

This is soo cool!
This type of mass production of a certain fighter intrigues me a lot! Especially when using different kits to build the subject.
P-51, Me 109, FW190, Spitfire, Hurricane, P-47 are probably those in 1/72 scale that can be found from Airifix, Revell, Italeri, Heller, Academy to mention a few.
So yes, cool work!
