I find a good debonder essential in taming any messy CA applications!

ubetcha! grabbed the extra thin not the medium the other day. I had that stuff everywhere....good news is the seat is never coming loose from the chassis!

Has anyone done or tried PE cowling flaps? Not sure I want to attempt to do these or not.

At least they are connected. May not be too difficult to deal with. But before hacking off the existing flaps, I would check to see if the existing plastic could be acceptably thinned. And you don't really have to thin the flaps uniformly (which is very difficult). Just beveling the trailing edges and painting the inner surfaces in a dark color is enough to give the impression of thin flaps.

Yeah that's what I was thinking would be the better (and easier) choice in this small scale.

If you do not use them, could you take an old cowling and practice?
