This was the flat clear phase. I used MM acryl flat clear with a some 70% ISO and a drop or so of light grey to bleach the finish a little.



....................and it seems that's about all my crappy computer is gonna get done as far as pics go. Man I'll tell you guys, it's time for an upgrade ........................soon!

Ok I cleaned my computer up last night so things are moving alot faster. This is where I dropped the Tyson chicken legs down on the ground. Things were finally taking shape at this point.



The Eduard wheels in the foreground got a shot of putty and sanding and will be cleaned up in photo shots I'll get on the computer and have up before end of day.

This just keeps getting better!

Thanks Lyle. There are a few things that I wished I would have worked on a little more but overall I'm ok with the build so far.

Thanks Jimmy. I actually started this build on the 26th of September and I've been working slave labor hours on this thing to beat the deadline. Honestly this is my quickest build so far with the next quickest being 4 months. Additionally theres not a whole lot of AM with this. Had this been a Tamiya it would have taken me around the 6 month or better mark to get where I'm at in just dealing with all the detail.

Ok fellas. This is where we are right now and this'll catch us up to the present day. Got the Eduard wheel/ tire assys installed and a few other tid bits in this pic:



and in this one I decided to test fit the port wing just to see how that was gonna go.



I still have the little stuff like the starboard cannon barrels, pitot tube, aerial antenna, minor weathering to include panel rub/chafe wear, some oil leaks and exhaust staining, bomb painting and installation and the actual installation of the port wing.

as the other said, it's looking better and better and I still can't stand the pace you're doing this.

So is the wing-folding mechanism workable?

No sir. There's just no saving that thing because in the lowered position the gap would be so freakin' bad it would ruin all of the effort I've put into this build. I aint kidding either. It would look like hammered dog dookie.
