Thanks Mike
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Already amazing! What a blast watching your work!

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.

Re: Modelcrazy's bench production 2021
Thank you Mark.
I have the Takao, Sunderland and Bismarck turret on the bench right now. Work a little here, a little there.
I do want to build that 335 in American markings OOB for next year. I'm currently researching the correct plane Monogram and decals for.

Re: Modelcrazy's bench production 2021
Thanks guys.
At present I have 4 builds on the bench. Really five but I lost my mojo on the F-35 at present. Too much work to fix the removed rivet detail. I'll get back on it soon enough.
The Takao
Bismarck Bruno turret
Short Sunderland.
Nothing to speak of on the Takao. I was waiting to spray the primer coat on the torpedo area before closing it up with the 02 deck.
The Bruno turret is coming along and that's what I'm trying to get completed before our local contest in Oct.
The Sunderland is coming along and I work on it when the turret is drying.
So here are the pics.
Bruno

The first steps

Found a wicked seam but was able to fix that with some Milliput.

See, no worries.

Started on the barrels. A lot of work to make them look seam less but their getting there

After finishing all the seams I sprayed the prier coat.

Since, I have sprayed the deck and below and the 02 deck around the Barbette on the 01 deck. I'm going to very the deck planking colors slightly for wood variation.
Sunderland

It's going to be in RAAF markings and hope to display it just leaving the water.
The interior is quite complex although you really can't see it through the windows. I'll do some painting but won't spend a lot of time detailing it. The cockpit however is different. I bought an Eduard PE set for the cockpit. After building the interior, I sprayed the primer coat.

Lovely work! It is so much fun to watch your builds.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks Lyle. Sometimes though I get too much on the bench and sit there for a while trying to figure out what I was doing. Not at all like Mark who can juggle several at a time.
