Thanks Tojo. Let's just hope I can get it all installed without messing it up. lol

I got the fuselage together and the camera upper and lower fuselage clear panels glued into place as of last week. This weeks progress so far has seen the installation of the wings. The body work is immense but nothing compared to what I'm going through with my VW Bus at this point. Posted below is the progress so far with the problematic seams noted in red. Lots of filling and sanding in all four areas.......

Looking great so far! After all the practice sanding and filling on the panel van and the VW, you should have this smooth in no time! LOL!

Thanks for the supportive comments fellas. Mark...............smooth yes............re-riveted......yuk!! I broke out the pin vise this morning to restore all of the rivet detail that got sanded away at the front part of the fuselage. I've still got the section behind and on the sides of the fuselage at the wing root to go and that's not to mention re-applying the panel lines that are gone as well. Here's 45 minutes worth of sanding and re-riveting:

Well done! It may have been a long time, but that's the difference between a good model and a great model. Rock on man!

Thanks Carlos. A lot more body work as far as sanded off riveting and panel lines are concerned I'm afraid. I'm working on the canopy section so I can get that all behind me and I'm trying to hold off on the engine pod and the resin engine so I can build the Small Block Chevy for my VW Bus and the Jumo 004 at the same time.
