And here comes a small update on my Rafale. For the broken decal on the bottom I used a blue sheet as suggested by Bruce. Now all decals are set in position and the plane is ready to be finished. That will happen after my vacation.

The drawing plan in your first photograph is really nice; I love seeing a good blueprint for taking action. Are your scalpels or modeling knives available in Europe? The handles look good to me. I am becoming less enchanted with X-Acto handles and their ability to keep the blade locked in place.
The decal works perfectly, Marius. Perfectly. I am wondering what is next on the list for this project? Fitting the landing gear?

After Scotland the next steps are preparing the missiles, creating covers for the intakes and mounting the landing gear.
There is still an issue to make the Wings front edges looking good. Also the aircraft needs a shower with future.
That will all happen after my stay in Scotland.

Enjoy your vacation! My favorite chippy is across from St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. My Mom's family are Lothians. Have you seen Thomas's most recent thread in the Armor section? I was planning to tint some Future tests on the Horten as a result, but not as a spray more of a light wash. It's taking me a longer amount of time to polish the lower fuselage, but I don't want to hide a rough surface under layers of weathering; this is why I follow your builds so closely. Handling is critical, and you are able to keep the surface smooth. Good work!

I am back from beautiful Scotland. Yesterday night I spent some hours on my wive's easter gift to me. It is a non glued and photo-etched kit of the black pearl. It is only 5cm long or so. 3 canvas are missing to be finished...
