Maybe it sticks to your sleeve and you're running around with it since a day? Happend to a friend once...
Cheers,

I wish it would have... Have now cleaned my desk, checked, double-checked, tripel-checked on the floor... Nothing. Nothing at all.
So, I guess the guys of "Black 212" left the axe behind them after heading towards the Battle of Ruhr in March 1945..

Hate it when that happens. I’ve literally had stuff wind up across the room before. One wonders

Yesterday, I found a dropped missing item in the tread of the sole of the shoe that I was wearing at the time...
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

Hey - why not make one yourself?? Stretch some sprue, get some glue! I looked at some tasty aftermarket but why bother? Your tank men would pick up a replacement axe on the battlefield.

Make more models!

Do you have any Dragon German armor kits? I haven't seen a Dragon kit that didn't come with multiple sets of tools. If you need I got a lot in the spares box that you are more then welcome to.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Many thanks Clint for your suggestion and proposal!
Unfortunately, the Jagdpanther is my, sort of back to armour in more than 30 years, so no stash what so ever. Also very grateful of suggesting to send it, but knowing the speed of post between ”new and old world”, might be I the axe would be somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic by the time the Jagdpanther would be done....
I think I will go for Bruces suggestion! Scratch build one!!

Weathering the gun was the name of this evenings activities.
Started very carefully, giving a Raw Sienna oilwash...

And the going totally loose... Some Raw umber, then Burnt umber, black, wash away, dry brushing etc etc etc...
I think I went too far... But I thought, as the hatches are quite small, the weathering needs to be sort of "amplified" to be able to notice any inside the tank..
So, this is/was the result...

Next, to scratchbuild an axe !

You left it outside? Man, that looks good.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
