Main gear instructions/piece count. There are some very thin, fragile pieces here. The engineering seems a bit flaky to me.
The Hobby Boss one I did had the same about of parts for the main gear legs and then I threw in a ton of PE.

Well, it's nice to see she's got legs! Way to go Lyle, I'm sure you'll figure out how to strengthen them. Everything looks great so far, certainly not a 12-footer.
As for Texas, I drove the 10 Freeway/Interstate from Lake Charles LA to Las Cruces New Mexico all across Texas. That was at least a 38 hour drive! Thank God I had a friend in San Antonio that I could stay with.

... and just for fun, I went to Scalemates and found the instructions... read ‘em, and now I know what you mean, Lyle. Its not like great instructions do not exist for Revell to copy, and they have had this kit in one form or another since 1976, so they could and should do better. I wish they were still around in their glory days out here in Venice, California, I’d go draw for ‘em. At least I know a bunch of proper model builders to bounce ideas off about how to show a sequence! Plus, what are we supposed to use for a nose weight, where does it fit?

Yep, she gots legs. Olive Oyl legs, but legs. Just going at it slowly. I really do want to nail this one down. We have family, well, the wife does, in Texas City/Houston area. Been there once and we flew into Houston. Flew to a Civil Air Patrol conference in San Antonio one time. Neat places. Want to get back.

Yeah. Bad art for them. Horrible placement information. Doesn't seem like their work. If you get bored, start a sub business providing clear instructions.

Old, fat men with bad knees don't jump through too many hoops!
I will get it done to some degree and move on to another. I have to finish one at some point. My "I'll get back to it later" shelf is pretty full already.
