Too much gray, too much rubbing....



I stripped it and will start over.

Hate it when that happens but at least you get a second chance at it. Will be watching for the recovery bubba.

took the paint off again....and realized that all of it did not come off the first time. so, it was a good thing. This time, I sprayed it on, no brushing. I also found some JPEGs on that entry-net thing that I could use. I also tortured my good eye by printing (first) and trying to trim around them and finally using a 1.4 mm punch to get some dots for the knobs. Only had to apply them about 5 times each. they keep falling off. I'll give the BMF foil a shot after they dry pretty thoroughly. Did you ever try to print radio buttons in this scale? You can also see a very faint fuel gauge.

Looking good, Lyle. Yeah, I see the gas gauge needle. Keep at it. I know the feeling of tiny details on the dashboard of any car model kit.

Remember this, no one will notice the details once it’s buttoned up to the body.

Thanks, Joe. It is getting there. Got some BMF on the accents and punched out a bit of clear plastic for the speedometer face.
