Well I just learned something. Great idea John

I actually have an empty Solvaset bottle I could put mine in. Mine had dried out too, but if putting it in water again restores it, I'll give it another try.

Such a simple yet brilliant idea.

Man!!! Progress is looking good on this one Stuart. Great work on that canopy and all the sanding and filling. Gotta get back in here and start looking around more. Had alot going on as of late with ....well...let's see....our son is raising a pig for is FFA project, he's also in football, wife is now working full time.....and speaking of wife she now has Covid and we're all stuck at home in quarantine now. So far she's been doing really well with very few symptoms. Hoping things stay that way.

In any case I'll be following this one a little closer now. Awesome build so far buddy. :shoutout:

Sorry to hear about your Wife Joe - I hope she gets past it with a minimum of ill effects!

I've been making some progress with the paint. There're still a few coats to do and some tidy up (since done) but it'll be acceptable 3 footer when I'm done.

I agree John, it's always been one of my favourites - classic Hawker design.

Well the painting is pretty much done - I've just got to tidy up a few bits (especially the canopy) and add some more paint to the wing tips. I'm liking how it's come out but man what a PITA scheme to paint!

It's not 100% but looks pretty good from a few feet!

Coming along nice.y Stuart! Red & white schemes are some of the hardest to do, since the white needs to look so pristine. It’s probably more of a challenge than bare metal.
