Judging by it's typical pre A-10 Republic take-off numbers, it probably needed two states to get turned around, but would take a nuclear Genie to down it!
John wasn't there a quote saying something like "if there was a runway that circled the globe Republic would make a plane to use every inch"

Well that ure didn’t apply to the A-10… the last Republic aircraft made for the USAF. Able to take off from novice short unimproved airfields or roadways….

Well this week I got the wingtip squadron color, anti glare panel, tail fin antenna, and steel areas masked off and painted…
More in a few days…

Thanks Stuart and Lyle. I really like the appearance of the AK Real Colors Aluminum base coat. Nice and bright it is! And given plenty of time to dry and cure, the enamel trim and anti glare panels went over it with zero problems…. not to mention that clean up of a bit of overspray was accomplished using good old paint thinner with zero problems. Good thing using dissimilar layers.

Looking good Stik... Can't wait to see what those decals can do for it!
