The Nuc's on the Tactical aircraft is really interesting - we didn't really have that over here from what I can see. The smallest aircraft we had carrying them at that time period was the Canberra. I don't think we had anything small enough to fit on the likes of the Hunter.
I believe that later in the Cold War, RAF Phantoms, Jaguars, and Tornados in West Germany had tac nuke tasking, and that they would receive US B61 bombs.

And now the F-35 has taken it over. The Typhoon is capable of carrying nukes but is not certified by the US to do so. That's why Germany bought a few F-35's because it is.

I do like that scheme. Saw in for the first time in the Time Life book series on the Viet Nam War. I do like most of the profiles on this sheet though -- tough choice now... glad I have multiple kits.

That's right, I have a Monogram Tornado GR.1 with a WE.177.

Didn't know about the Euro-tiffy but not surprised about the F-35.

Well here is the latest and hopefully last additions to my stash.
I literally bought the Hasegawa Zero because of the box art. Will I build it? You bet. The two Tamiya A6m5's I could not resist the price plazajapan had them listed at. The FineMolds F-4N's and the weapsons set I had bee waiting on for a long time and those are what started the order (the others were just tag-a-longs to find the shipping sweet spot). The A6M3 I wanted for a long time as well and the price was right buying direct from the empire.

I really am seriously re-thinking my stash size and model acquisition habits. Had bit of a medical scare last week -- still a bit scared actually -- heading to doctor in a few minutes to see what's up... That combined with the fact that even if I live 30 more years, I won't be able to build what I have. I did not even know where to put these kits when I got them out of the box, so hey, why not stick them in the spray booth until I can figure it out? :hmm:

So there it is for now. I may develop this thought a bit more later in a separate thread. But stay tuned for stash reduction blow out sales in the future.

I finally got one of my "holy grail" kits. The Hasegawa VF-1A/J from the Robotech/Macross anime. I've always loved these and the show so I had to get one.

Take it easy health wise Chris - hope all goes well at the Doctors.

I've sold in the region of 40 kits this year, it's actually quite cathartic.
