This is my newest one, a model of I aircraft with jet and prop, it was the first jet that landed on aircraft carrier. Starting with prop and flying with jet, it was not so effectiv and jets like the Panther and the Phantom (I) was fast introduced in the Navy.

The kit is from Czech Models, short run structur, vaku canopy and resin cockpit/wheel wells and engine. It is a short run model so fit issues are part of the model.

Those short run kits can be a pain in the rear but that Fireball looks great.

That is a nice looking build indeed! It sure has the look of the early transitional phase of the early jet age when aerospace designers were having to relearn the boundaries of aircraft design all over again with their new power plants, and flight envelopes.

A side note on the build, is there anything that you can do about that propeller shaft angle/droop?
