I dont tread into the dark side often, but I do have a smattering of tanks on the shelf :)

My first foray into armor was with Tamiya's 1/35 Bulldog. A nice kit for an introductory build! I did add a few scratchbuilding elements, such as handmade stowage, replacing the plastic grab handles with wire, and some antennas made from guitar string

next came a small scale Sherman, this time in 1/48 scale (also from Tamiya). Hand-painted and with scratched stowage.

Owl and armor? Who'd have thunk it? :tease: Nice work there. What did you use for the tie down straps on the M41? The look really good!

Thanks Jim! I have a couple more to post, but my sister stole the computer from me. Something about homework or whatnot...

third time around I decided to try my hand at making a diorama. Featuring Academy's Sdkfz. 167 in 1/35, as well as Zvezda's R-12 Heavy Motorcycle.

(yes, thats the commander from the Bulldog, I just kinda stuck him in this one for a scale element)
