The Bumble Bee

Heres a project that I had in mind for some months now - and finally got the mojo for it. :D The "Bumble Bee" is a heavily armed space interceptor carrier (or something like that) - looks maybe a bit fat and lazy, but is extremely dangerous.

The main concept is to put an U Boat hull together with some additions. The main part consists of a Type IIB from ICM/Revell with both turrets. Tons of PE parts will be misused, as well as some plastic profile and all that funny stuff that makes a kitbash a pure joy.

:D

The planet surface got a space colony made from Mini Millenium Falcon & X-Wing parts (sorry, dear Star Wars fans!), and I think about some custom decals. A friend will have a look over them, so I hope he can print them - would be very nice.

Theyre back!

The reason: Although my PB account reached 21%, it caused a bandwith problem, concerning all pictures in every thread where PB pics were used, and those are many.

The consequences: I was slightly peed off :poo: because its of course tons of work, and at first sight I thought, everything was gone for good. Bandwith reached at 21% - you can never learn enough! Thanks to www and the help of some members of another forum where I hang out from time to time (MSC) we could solve that problem and it had a happy end.

And so the story continues...

With a new control center, a reworked flight deck and additional rudder. Stay tuned!

Just worked a bit on the base and put some fine G-Strings into the base. From a guitar, I mean, not those for the girls.. :D

Those are supposed to be the "flight connections" for the interceptors buzzing around the ship, attacking it. And somethnig like a high tech oven (that kind of Alien III ending one) had been kitbashed, made from a spinner plate and some additional stuff from the spare parts box. Its illuminated in blue.

Pictures will follow...
