Masterbox Models figure set, Base made from scratch with Clay and Floral foam. Woodland scenics realistic water and foliage. Twigs and pebbles from my back yard. Painted using vallejo acrylics. Hope you guys like this project. It is so much fun to do these little jar lid vignettes

Nice vignette, it reminds me of a scene of the german movie Stalingrad.

Small, but effective - and thelling a story, most important! The faces seem a bit dark. What helps (especially if theyre freezing!) is some decent red washing under the cheeks, I miss some contrast here. Not too much, but youll see the difference.

Thats something I was very shy about too about years, until I tried it.

But thats no have-to of course, everything fine as long as you had some fun painting them.

Faces are hard.... I usually give them a dark wash (left it unattended too long so the fleshcolor got tainted. Good spot) and afterwards a light color drybrush. Need to work on that.... Red wash you say?

Yes, red wash. GW works fine, but Vallejo red mixed with the skin color for example works well too. Just under the cheeks, bring it on and wipe away with your finger - repeat if neccessary.

They look cold indeed! Brrrr!!!! (as I sit here in warm dry weather feeling like mid summer here) I really like those Master Box figure sets. They can stand on their own just like this or be added to any build to enhance it.
